Adopt-A-Block Program

Starting in 2012, MDCB will begin a new block adoption program. We will be looking for dedicated volunteers who will take on the responsibility of cleaning litter and trash from the public areas of a city block.

Volunteers need to be able to dedicate approximately 1-2 hours per week walking their adopted area.

MDCB will provide the volunteer with trash bags and gloves.

Volunteers will be recognized on our website, at our annual meeting, and the most outstanding volunteer will receive an 'Oscar' at our Annual Oscars Night Award Ceremony.
